Example restaurant

Enter 1–3 names, separated by commas. If several records match, you can choose one. These choices describe the audience you hope to reach; they are assumptions about your customers.

Location searches use Photon and OpenStreetMap. Live comparisons send your city, audience references and location coordinates to Qloo. Sitebrief does not save your comparison.

HOW THE COMPARISON WORKS

Understand the scores
before choosing a location.

Sitebrief compares nearby Qloo taste scores and the rents you enter. The brands and places you choose describe your intended audience. The restaurant idea is a label for your comparison; it does not change the scores.

Check foot traffic, lease terms, permits, and operating costs before deciding. Sitebrief does not verify available rentals, population figures, or likely sales.

How scores and map data are used

Each location uses the nearest point from the same Qloo map, up to 2 km away. Locations without a point in that range have no score. Sitebrief uses the score as returned, without estimating values between map points.

Qloo calls this score “affinity.” Higher values show a stronger taste match within this response. They are not percentages or predictions of restaurant success. The map displays up to 4,000 returned points; all returned points remain available for the comparison.

The nearby restaurant list covers selected results within 1 km, rather than every business in the area. Missing results do not prove that an area lacks competitors.

This hackathon prototype has not been tested with restaurant owners or realtors. Read the Qloo map documentation ↗
